Open Communications

OPEN COMMUNICATIONS provide researchers and practitioners with a simple and concise, yet exciting and interactive, opportunity to present their research, case-studies, novel approaches, techniques or technologies to the congress audience. Speakers can submit either a 1-page abstract or a previously published work, which will be screened by a panel of experts, including the congress and program chairs.

Presentation:

OPEN COMMUNICATIONS aim at creating an informal setting that encourages presenters and participants to engage in discussions about the presented work. Both poster and oral presentations are available. Oral presentations are given a slot of 10 minutes and follow the same basic rules as for other oral presentations. OPEN COMMUNICATIONS will be advertised in the congress program and abstracts will be included in a book of abstracts, but not published in the proceedings, on cd-rom or on the Digital Library.

Registration:

Authors of accepted OPEN COMMUNICATIONS can benefit of 1-day pass registrations, if they just want to present their work at their OPEN COMMUNICATIONS session. All other speakers are required to register to the whole event. An official certificate will be given to all speakers who present their work at the Congress.
